N yasha challenges the status quo in environmental science by amplifying the voices of authors and readers from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

This podcast discusses books by and for BIPOC individuals, exploring their unique perspectives on environmental justice. Nyasha also discusses actionable steps we can all take to support these efforts.

My endeavors aim to promote justice, human rights, and overall well-being by advancing interdisciplinary scientific inquiry, democratizing science, collaborating with community organizations, dismantling colonial legacies, and addressing the nexus of food, energy, and water resources.
